Jacob Kellermann

Jacob Kellermann was born in Stockholm, Sweden where he began his guitar studies at the age of eight. An avid chamber musician, he performs regularly with violinist Daniel Migdal as Duo KeMi. In 2007 he performed Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the Gotland Sinfonietta.
Jacob has studied in the Hague, Barcelona and at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg-Augsburg and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He performs regularly throughout Sweden as well as in Germany and the Netherlands. He has on numerous occasions performed for Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess of Sweden, the former Prime Minister Göran Persson and the current Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.
Among the many scholarships he has been awarded, Jacob Kellermann received funding from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music for showing excellence as a young musician. His teachers have included Mats Bergström, Zoran Dukic and Franz Halasz. He currently lives in Salzburg, Austria.
