Every month, the New European Ensemble brings to you a new mix of literature, poetry and music in Salon Branoul and Salon op Zuid




The American writer J.D. Salinger was born on January 1st, 1919. He wrote one of the most successful novels of all time in 1951: The Catcher in the Rye. The novel is about Holden Caulfield, a teenager who roams around New York City. He wants to experience amazing adventures and absolutely hates Phonies. The text is combined with the colourful  sounds o fFrederic Rzewski's 'Plugs and Leaks.'

CC Amstel is the new and improved theater Ostade in Amsterdam South! This beautiful new place opened it's doors in October 2018 and New European Ensemble is payer the literary salons there ever since.
