Anna Thorvaldsdóttir is one of today’s most recognizable compositional voices. Her works are full of instrumental colour combining intricate detail with a sense of great expansiveness. She has written a new work for the New European Ensemble which premiered in the first Portrait on Saturday March 7th. Today, we pair her In the Light of Air with a new work by Carlo Boccadoro.
