New European Ensemble wins Kersjes Prijs 2019

The Kersjes Foundation has awarded a special prize to the New European Ensemble. The €30.000 cash prize is meant to show the foundations’ appreciation for the way the ensemble has persevered in achieving its mission at the highest level for the past ten years in a climate where funding cuts in the arts have become the norm. The award ceremony will take place on December 3rd in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
